After much prayer and careful consideration by the Southern Methodist College Search Committee (Executive Committee), we are pleased to announce that Dr. John Hucks has been appointed Acting President of Southern Methodist College starting June 1, 2019. On behalf of the college family, we thank the Search Committee for their diligent work and pledge our faithful support to Dr. Hucks and his administrative leadership. Pray for him as he makes the transition to this essential position of leadership.
