The two specializations offered presently are the Pastoral Studies and the Teaching Bible studies.
You will notice that the same syllabus and evaluation forms are used for each with the clarification of pastor/teaching Bible noted in the evaluation forms. Please note that the student MUST contact the chair (Rev. Dr. Richard Blank, rblank@smcollege.edu) for approval of the selected internship specialization, as well as approving the supervisor to oversee the student during the internship.
When a student signs up for an internship and his/her internship is approved, we will then send a copy of the syllabus and the evaluation forms to them so that they aware of the evaluation expectations. When the student’s supervisor is approved by the Director of Institutional Advancement, Dr. Richard Blank will communicate with him/her concerning the his/her responsibility.
